About Pasqal

PASQAL designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.
Our innovative technology enables us to address use cases that are currently beyond the reach of the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern industrial application challenges as well as fundamental science needs.
In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry. 

 Overview

PasqOS is the software operating Pasqal's bleeding edge Quantum Processing Units (QPU). It is a fairly complex software that interacts with a lot of hardware written mostly in Python and mixes a lot of technologies. It comes with a web interface and a set of APIs for cloud clients. The web interface provides job management and health monitoring for the QPU.

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack developer interested in working on the Quantum Computing field and participate to Pasqal Operating System advances.

Your main missions will be:

• To develop, enhance and maintain the PasqOS user interface.
• To develop, enhance and maintain PasqOS APIs for cloud access.
• To suggest evolution and refactoring to the existing code base.
• To implement tests and documentation for new features.
• To help securing the application by applying good practices to avoid security holes.
• To help new users in training.
• To be proactive when it comes to optimizations, but also share your knowledge and experience with the team.

About you

We are looking for an open-minded and passionate team player with good communication skills. No need for you to hold a Quantum physics PhD, but working in this company is the opportunity to talk with experts in various fields and learn tons of things about our technology.

The web interface and APIs will be used by our research team and customers working directly on the QPU, your talent and dedication will make a difference.

Will you write the history of Quantum Computers with us?

• You have solid experience with React/TypeScript and related frontend technologies (ReactQuery).
  
• You have solid experience with Python on the backend and related technologies (Flask, FastAPI).
  
• You have a solid knowledge of databases (we use PostgreSQL, InfluxDB).
  
• You are used to working in a Linux environment (we use Ubuntu).
  
• You can deal with CI on gitlab and dockerize your services.
  
• You are curious and passionate about user experience.
