Our innovative technology enables us to address use cases that are currently beyond the reach of the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern industrial application challenges as well as fundamental science needs.
In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.
Job Description
As part of our strong growth, we are looking for an Optimization Engineer with expertise in Operations Research (Applied Mathematics) or Quantum Computing with a solid background in exact and heuristics approaches in graph theory or quantum algorithms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, and a passion for leveraging advanced optimization techniques to drive tangible results. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous optimization efforts across the organization.
About you
You hold a PhD, or MSc in Operations Research or Quantum Computing, and with 3+ years in a similar position, and have several of the following assets:
Hard skills:
- Experience with at least one of the following optimization frameworks: SCIP, DIP, PuLP, DipPy, Pyomo, JuMP
- Experience with at least one of the following programing languages: C, C++, Python, CUDA, Julia
- Experience with linear and non-linear solvers such as Cplex, Baron, Gurobi, GLPK, IPOPT
- Good practices in algorithms development and numerical simulations
- Experience with theoretical modelling of spin models (mean-field, perturbation theory, effective models, …)
Soft Skills:
- Strong taste for Applied Mathematics, Quantum Computing and Graph Theory, and a keen interest in deep tech and new technologies
- Report / documentation writing
- English fluency
