 Job Description

We are seeking a HPC software engineer to integrate Pasqal’s quantum technologies into high-performance computing environments by scheduling hybrid quantum-classical jobs with Pasqal QPUs alongside classical resources. . In this context, your main missions will be :

• Connect Pasqal technologies (hardware and software) in our customers HPC infrastructure (e.g. Slurm, Qaptiva)
• Steer collaboration with partners (e.g. NVIDIA and IBM) to natively integrate Pasqal technologies
• Collaborate with the cloud team to integrate cloud QPUs and have converging experiences for the user 
• Optimize hybrid (quantum/classical) jobs running on our internal HPC cluster 
• Provide insights to the hardware team to align application optimization with internal hardware scheduling
• Conduct technology watch on HPC-QC early stage domain

About you

Hard Skills

• Experience in both low-level (e.g. C, Rust) and high-level (e.g. Python) programming languages
• Knowledge of Linux operating system
• Exposure to scientific computing and scheduling systems (e.g. Slurm, MPI, OpenMP, GPU programming)

Soft Skills

• Autonomy and ownership, it’s a 3-people team with a broad scope 
• Interest for quantum computing 
• Team spirit and good communication skills
